GV The Manor

II

House. C17, extended early C19, original part reworked C20. Original block
is timber framed with rough cast render and clay tile roofs. Later block is
brick with hipped slate roofs. "Whole house colourwashed. Original block 3-
room plan, 2 storeys. C19 addition is 2-storeyed L-plan around S and E sides,
forming double pile building. C20 addition projects W from N end of original
black. C19 elevations have sash windows with glazing bars, and 4 panel door
to E elevation. Main block W elevation has C20 casement windows with glazing
bars. 6 panel door in moulded surround under bracketed pediment. Red brick
ridge stack with rebuilt diagonal shafts.
