Stables, coachhouses and stablehands' rooms, now garages, stores and offices.
Circa 1865, probably by S.W. Daukes of Gloucester. Coursed-squared rubble with
freestone dressings; hipped Cotswold stone slate roofs. Three ranges enclosing
a courtyard. South range: single storey coach houses, 8 segmental headed plank
doors; vents on roof with gablets. North range: single storey (formerly
stables); 5 doors under pointed overlights and gables. Quadrant walls join the
north and south ranges to 3 bay single storey stable ranges which flank the
central building of the west range; 2 storeys and attics in gabled dormers;
3 bays, 2 segmental headed coach entries on ground floor, 3-light casement
windows under segmental heads on first floor; central projecting 4 stage clock
tower; the final stage has chamfered edges and a clock and is surmounted by an
octagonal concave spire with lucarnes under gablets, overhanging bracketted eaves.
