House. Late C16/C17 with later alterations and additions. Rubble, rendered,
double Roman tiled roof with raised coped verges and ridge and gable stacks,
those on main range set diagonally, part pantiled. T-plan formed by accretion,
probably front wing added soon after main range, progressively extended to left.
2 storeys, to right, roof has catslide over porch, 2-light casement with ovolo
mullions and hood mould, heavy door with raised moulded battens in ovolo-moulded
and stopped frame, to right ground floor 4-light and first floor 3-light casement
with ovolo mullions and hood mould, steep gable over; front of wing to left has
similar 3-light casement, inner side has ground floor 4-light and first floor
3-light similar casements, gable above, left side of wing has ground floor 2-light
and first floor 3-light similar casements with gable over; main range continued
to left with higher roof level, ground and first floor C20 3-light casement,
lean-to with 3-light casement to left and attached 2-storey block at left return
with door and 3-light casement. Right return has 3-light casement with ovolo
mullions and hood mould in gable end. Rear of main range has 2 similar 4-light
casements at ground floor, two 3-light at first floor with gable over, small off-
centre single light with wider hood mould, possibly former position of door;
taller block to right has 2 windows, ground floor 4-light and 3-light, two
3-light at first floor, all with hood mould; connecting wing set at angle has
2-light casement and door, lean-to with door attached to right gable end.
