east angle of Church of St Piran

2 chest tombs. Early C19. To Hodge and Williams families. One chest is granite
ashlar, the other chest has a brick base with a slate lid. Both are rectangular on
plan. Granite chest has moulded plinth and cornice and an inset slate slab inscribed
to: William Hodge, of Lambourne, died 1838 aged 92, wife Susannah, and daughter of
JL Hugh Williams of Colan in the county, died 1838 aged 7 years.
Other chest has incised lid inscription to Hugh Williams, died 1820 aged 62.
