Farmhouse, now a house. Mid - late C17th, restored and west (left) gable added
1982. Coursed rubble; artificial stone slate roof with coped raised verges
ashlar stacks. 2 storeys and attics in 3 steep stone gables with finials.
4 windows and two doors on ground floor. 1-, 2-, 4- and 5-light casement windows
with moulded mullions and surrounds; centre windows are under drip moulds and
relieving arches. Continuous string course above ground and first floors to
right 2 windows. Door off-centre to right: plank doors with strap hinges;
moulded surround with 4-centred arch lintel; drip mould above. Further plain
plank door to left. Interior: stop chamfered beams and fireplaces with
1 moulded 4-centred arch lintels in two ground floor rooms. Formerly Lower Northend
Farmhouse.
