House. Early C19 with later wing to rear. Roughcast stone with some ashlar and
rock-faced stone; slate roofs. North-east facade of 2 storeys and 3 bays;
hipped roof. Windows are sashed with glazing bars and horns, C20 replacements.
Central entrance has Tuscan porch with frieze, cornice and blocking course;
6-panel door and blocked overlight with glazing bars. Returns similar. 2 rear
lateral stacks. Rear has central 2-storey gabled stair wing and 2-storey, 2-bay
wing to right, both with rock-faced sandstone quoins. Sashed windows with
glazing bars, 2 without horns. Left return of wing has entrance with hipped
porch. Interior has flying stair on oval plan, with stick balusters.
