House, ground floor in commercial use. Earlier C19, reworked later C19.
Front elevation of mottled yellow brick, others of red brick. Ground floor
of front elevation faced in ashlar. Slate roof. 2 storeys and attics, with
symmetrical 3-window facade. Ground floor has part-glazed central door.
This and outer bays are flanked by simply moulded pilasters supporting a
continuous cornice. Outer bays each contain tripartite sash window. First
floor has 3 sash windows with glazing bars under gauged brick flat heads.
Attic has 2 hipped dormers containing sashes with glazing bars. Integral
brick stacks to both gable ends. Single-storeyed brick addition with hipped
slate roof to LH gable end. Included for group value.
