Small country house. Early C19. Ashlar gritstone, with twin hipped Welsh
slated roofs hidden by parapet, and centre ridge stacks, each with four linked
octagonal stone chimneys with moulded caps. Irregular plan, with rectangular
main range from which a single and a two storey contemporary range extend
westwards, together with minor additions. South elevation; two storeys, five
bays, with advanced central bay supported by triple pointed-arched open porch
with stepped approach. Moulded string course above arches and above 5-light
chamfer mullioned first floor window, parapet with blind balustrading. Flanking
bays have mullioned and transomed windows within moulded surrounds and casements
with glazing bars. Octagonal corner turrets extend above parapet. Central
doorway within porch with moulded architrave, panelled door, and flanking single
light casements with glazing bars.
