II
Small house, now disused. Circa early C19. Local granite rubble. Rag slate roof with
gable ends. Projecting granite rubble end stack on left with moulded string and
stone rubble end stack on right.
Plan: Two room plan with central entrance, heated by end stacks.
Exterior: Small single storey house with central entrance. The window openings to
right and left have been partly blocked and appear to have been fairly large.
Interior: Internal partitions removed. Left hand fireplace, probably for the kitchen,
with granite lintel and partly brick lined for kitchen range which has now been
removed. Smaller blocked fireplace on right hand gable end with undressed granite
lintel. Roof structure partly renewed, the principals lapped and nailed at the
apices.
Small house in unaltered yard with particularly interesting plan.
