6 piers. Set of 4 early C18 brick piers, rebuilt C20, with C20 cast
iron railings and gates. Piers have panelled sides, moulded stone
cornices and bases, carved stone ball finials, and side pilasters with
carved stone scroll tops. These piers flank entrance to north
avenue planted under direction of George London. Attached to W. pier
is an early C19 ashlar pier with panelled sides, moulded base and
cornice. Another matching pier to S.W.
