SW 83 NW FEOCK TRELISSICK

4/25 The Barn at approx 70m north west
of Trelissick House

GV II

Bank barn with waggon store under. Now partly restaurant. Circa early-mid C19.
Slatestone rubble with brick piers and arches. Scantle slate roof, reslated circa
1970's. Rectangular plan. Barn over basement, built into bank to rear (north) and
partly open to front (south). South front has 2 original slit ventilators to first
floor and original 6-bay arcade of waggon entrances. Cambered arches between slender
piers. C20 iron tie-rod retaining plates over piers. First floor windows, of two
12-pane sashes and others with vertical glazing bars only, are C20 insertions.
Interior has original pine king post roof structure.
