House, now pair of cottages. C15, altered C19 and extended C20. Witchert,
colourwashed and roughcast on rubblestone plinth incorporating C15 cruck
truss. Plain tile roof replaces thatched one. 3 bays and 1½ storeys,
No.26 has single storey hipped roof addition, and No.28 is two west bays,
the left hand one a modern addition. 2-light casements, mostly leaded.
South elevation has 3 windows and 3 dormers. C17 brick stack between
west bays and to east gable. 2 doors on north side. Medieval cruck
truss on party wall and No.26 has large open fireplace and original bays
have chamfered and stopped spine beams.
