Doorhood on cut brackets. Early C19 with brick immediately beneath cornice
inscribed: I. Bigg, Mason, 1815. Flint rubble, red brick quoins and dressings,
hipped old tiled roof with dentil brick cornice. 1 storey, 2 round headed
sash windows with glazing bars. 2 fold 6 fielded panelled door up 2 stone
steps with cast iron railings. Semi-circular fanlight over door and small
round headed window (? to organ gallery) above.

No 39A, Fern Cottage, No 39, 40A, 40, 41, 41A, 42, 42A, 43, 44 and Christadelphian
Chapel form a group.
