C17 or early C18 house with new main range added to south end probably early
C19. The whole building is of coursed limestone rubble with old clay tile
roof. The original main wing of two storeys is built gable end to the road.
To the west elevation is one small box dormer and ground floor 2-light
casement. To left hand side is a projecting gabled wing of one storey and
attics. This has an attic doorway in the gable end indicating that it was
originally used for storage. Windows are irregularly spaced C20 casements
under heavy timber lintels. Hipped roof porch in the angle between wings.
C19 south wing is of two storeys and attics. South elevation has three gabled
dormers. Three first floor casements with glazing bars; the two outer ones of
2-lights. Ground floor has two 3-light casements and central doorway. All
openings have ashlar heads with keystones.
