House. C17 bay to rear with late C18- early C19 front range and C20
extension to front right. Rear bay is timber framed with whitewashed
brick and plaster infill. Front range is of red and vitreous
chequer brick with dentil eaves. Tiled roofs, brick chimneys flanking
front range and to far gable of rear bay. Front range is of 2 storeys
and 2 bays with C20 paired wooden casements, those to ground floor with
chequered cambered heads, those above with asymmetrical top lights.
Central 2-panelled door with 2 small lights, and single wooden casement
above. Rear bay is of one storey and an attic with C20 wooden casements
and 2 original window openings in gable. C20 flat-roofed extension in
rear angle. Interior has old board doors, stop-chamfered spine beam in
rear bay, and large fireplace at right end of front range. Included
for group value.
