GV II*

House. Circa 1800 refronting of older building. Front is
rendered and whitewashed with dentil cornice and stone-coped
battlemented parapet. Brick gable ends with band courses, the right
gable whitewashed. Steeply pitched slate roof with rendered central
chimney. Parallel range to rear is of brick and flint with tiled roof and
brick chimneys. 2 storeys, 5-bay Gothick front. Windows have 4-
centred arched heads, wooden 'Y' tracery and narrow arched glazing bars.
Centre bay has 2-storey projecting porch with canted corners and taller
battlemented parapet. Half-glazed door with Gothick glazing, 4-centred
arch, and wooden doorcase. Doorcase has panelled pilasters, frieze with
elongated quatrefoils, and small cornice hood on shaped scroll brackets.
Above door is a small round window. Lean-to to right. Rear range has
irregular gables and some old leaded windows. Interior not seen.
