Chest tomb. 1654. To Thomas Peter. Dressed granite monolith sides with chamfered tops and square edged inscribed granite lid. Rectangular-on-plan. Lid has achievement at head and simple incised inscription of : THOMAS PETER PREACHER OF MYLOR ABOVE 20 YE 57 YEARE OF HIS AGE IN YE YEARE 1654.
This is the earliest monument found in the churchyard.
