Small house. C18. Painted rubble with dressed granite quoins, jambstones, sills and
lintels. Wooden lintel over doorway. Slurried scantle slate roof with brick
chimneys over the gable ends.
2 room plan, built into bank at rear, original parlour left and kitchen/living room
right. In the C19 converted into 2 cottages when a larger fireplace was inserted to
the left hand room and a second door was cut (since blocked) right of the present
doorway. Now again 1 house with small C20 addition left and C20 sun lounge rear at
mid floor level.
2 storeys. Nearly symmetrical 2 window north front with doorway slightly left of
middle. C20 divided ledged door and C20 12-pane horizontaal sashes (copied from
replaced windows) in original openings.
Interior : open-beam ceilings, straight flight C19 stair and large stone fireplace at
either gable end. Said to be a circa late C19 roof structure.
