Toll-house, c.1860. Single storey and octagonal in plan. Carstone walls with gault
brick rustication to angles. Hipped roof of slate with central octagonal stack. One
hung sash with single central glazing bar to each wall. Doorway in west side. Used
for collecting tolls from drovers on banks of Mortons Leam. Alderton and Booker:
