Rarmhouse. Rebuilt by John Foote, Mayor of Truro, C17 and earlier with C20 wing. Shale and rubble with rag slate and Delabole slate roofs. H shaped with north east wing includes earlier alling. Stair is between fron and back wings. 2 storeys. South west front is 1:2:1 bays. Central stucco, 2 window part has 4 panel door to ledt and 4 pane sash to right. Flanking matching gable ended rubble wings have central windows including early C18 sash with 18 panes to first floor od left wing. Smaller attic windows to gables (leaded glazing was found in one to right). Roof pitch reduced. Back Wall and one axial wall in north east range survives from earlier house, but south east wall was probably rebuilt C17. External stone lareral stacks to side wall of left wing to back of central spine and stone axial stack over where C17 dog leg stair with turned finials and pendants to newels, early C18 cornices and fielded panelled shutters to adjoining room in from wing and C17 12-panel door with stuck mouldings leading to first room in back wing which has late C18 chimney piece with festoons. Room beyond in partly rebuilt earlier range has 5 panelled door with bolection mouldings. Main hall fireplace in central spine has moulded and stopped lintel. Linked stone retaining wall to north west has spring and granite trough in recess.
