Built about 1906, reputedly from a late Medieval French timber framed manor
house imported by a Canadian millionaire. Four bays with jettied right hand
wing, and jettied left hand wing with carriageway under. Plastered infill.
Two storeys. Decorative bracing. Central hipped roof 2 storey porch and extruded
bay between main range and right cross wing. Old tile roofs. Leaded casements.
Much carved wood and enriched stacks. Interior also has carved woodwork, beams,
joists and panelling.
