TL 66 NE CHIPPENHAM NEW STREET

GV II

Cottage, late C17 or early C18 possibly built by Lord Orford
after the emparkment of the village. Timber-framed and plas-
tered with corrugated asbestos roof. One storey and attic.
Local brick ridge stack to right of centre and side stack to
left hand. One gable-roofed, and one flat-roofed dormer
windows. Four ground floor windows of varying sizes with
glazing bars and two boarded doors. Painted brick, C18 single
storey extension to right hand with red pantile roof.
