Former bailiff's cottage and adjoining former stables and cartsheds. Circa early or
mid C19. Dressed granite and granite rubble walls with granite dressings. Grouted
scantle slate roofs. House roof is hipped on the left and has brick chimnney over
gable end on the right.
Plan: Shallow double depth plan house with kitchen/living room at the front with
entrance lobby and stair on the left. Adjoining on the right is a long rectangular
range of buildings, presumably originally used at stables, tack rooms and cartsheds.
Part of this range is converted to dwelling accommodation, C20 extension at rear of
house.
Exterior: House is 2 storeys; otherwise single story. House has slightly irregular
2 window front with doorway at far left. Panelled door. Original 16-pane hornless
sashes.
Interior: Simple interior but with much of its original structure and joinery.
