House formerly an inn. C17 altered, partly timber framed, partly
C18 and C19 brick. Modern tile hanging to front (south west)
elevation upper part. Hipped old tile roof, dentil eaves. Large central
chimney of old bricks. Door and five casement windows with segmental
arches, three 3-light casements to first floor. Two modern sash windows
to south-east elevation facing Common. Large offset brick stack to
fireplace, original beams and old roof tibers. First floor: chamfered
brick arch to fireplace in south east room.
