Public House. Early C15, timber framed and plastered, with some weatherboarding
at rear. Red plain tile hipped roofs. 2 storeys and 1 storey and attics.
H-plan. 3 window range C19 vertical sliding sashes with glazing bars. Ground
floor windows have sidelights. 2 gabled dormers. Red brick dado. C20, lean-to
porch, with red plain tile roof. C17, C18 and C20 extensions at rear. Red
brick chimney stacks. Internally, heavy timber frame of top quality with
exposed ceiling joists. Centre tenons with soffit spurs to floor joists. Main
frame stop chamfered.
