4/141 Grange Farmhouse

II

Farmhouse, 1756 with C19 additions. Brick with stucco dressings,
pantiled roof with overhanging gables and 3 gable stacks, L-plan.
6, originally 5, bay front, with right hand bay being an addition
of C19, 2 storeys plus garrets. Off centre half glazed door
in early C19 wooden surround. Flanked by to left 2 glazing bar
sashes, and to right 3 similar windows. Above the door is a
datestone inscribed E. W. (Weston) 1756. To first floor are
6 glazing bar sashes; all windows have segmental heads with
splayed stucco lintels. Interior retains shutters to front.
