7/50 Village Farmhouse
G.V. II
Farmhouse. C17 with C18 and C20 alterations. Originally mud and
stud, now painted brick, half hipped pantile roof with single
ridge and wall brick stacks. Baffle entry. L-plan. Single
storey with attic, 4 bay front. Off-centre half glazed door
flanked by 2 three light casements. All openings have arched
brick heads. Dormer has 2 light casement, flat lead roof and
iron cheeks. Evidence of a timber frame is provided by rendered
site of former post to left hand end and a projecting padstone to
right hand gable.
