Farm complex walls. C19. Red brick with some C19 cast iron ornate railings to
front of Lodge Cottage. The walls approx. 1½ metres high with stepped plinths
and segmental brick coping. One section is attached to right of right door of
stable block listed q.v. 2/130 and terminates at the gateway to Saling Grove.
The other section is attached to left of the same right door, curves north west
to the front of Lodge Cottage where it is topped by ornate cast iron railings
and continues east to front Piccott's Lane, passing the buildings listed q.v.
2/129 and 2/130 & 131. The Piccott's Lane section is of 35 bays of approx. 10
ft. each with pilaster buttresses between. There is a gateway in Piccott's Lane
east of the Lodge Cottage from which a curved spur wall returns to attach to the
right of the doorway to the covered yard.
