House, was a maltings. Late C16-early C17. Two storeys, L-shape with hipped plain red tiled roof. Red brick built. Six range assorted small paned casement windows and three square wooden doors to first floor. Two square C20 red brick chimney stacks. Two 'S' tie beams. Situated by the pond and facing the church, this building forms an important part of the village green.
