C18. Symmetrical front (north) of 2 storeys, 5 windows, with a one window extension
on the east side, of slightly later date. Hipped tile roof, brick dentil eaves,
catslide to the rear; a massive tapered stack at the north-east end. The walling (now
painted) is of brickwork with squared-knapped flint panels, brick rubbed flat arches,
first floor band and plinth; the east side is in English bond with one flint panel
above the first floor band. Casements, one sash; 4 former windows now plastered, with
painted frames. Solid door frame enclosing a coupled fanlight and 2-panelled door.
The west elevation is similar, being symmetrical of 3 windows, with a similar door
frame within a later porch; the return being plain with larger flint panels. Formerly
an inn.
