Churchyard cross. Probably C15 in Ham stone. A square step supports a large socket 600mm squared by 400mm high
chamfered to an octagon to upper edge, with hint of broaches at angles: single-stone shaft about 2.7 metres high, 350mm
square at base and tapering, said to be mortised into socket with lead. (Pooley, Old Crosses of Somerset, 1877).
