Barn. Later C17. Timber frame on brick sill, dark weatherboarded with a
steep half-hipped roof now slated. A 3-bay, rear aisled barn facing S
with E gable to road. Double doorway in middle bay now with sliding
doors. Jowled bay- and arcade-posts but unjowled rear wall posts. Long
curved braces to tie-beams and arcade plate. Clasped purlin roof on
collar trusses with raking struts added later. Peninsular sills extend
to support arcade posts.
