Venison larder, now a store. Mid C19. Timber framed with brick
nogging and thatched roofs. Single storey, octagonal plan. The
windows are 2 light Tudor arched wooden casements covered with
metal mesh. To north, a gabled porch with 4 centred arched
doorway, weatherstripped plank door and ornate hinges. Porch
gable has an ornate bargeboard. On each side of the porch, and
on each of the remaining sides, a window. Above, octagonal
lantern with small glazed double lancets, and conical roof topped
with a wooden finial. The interior has shutters to the windows.
This building is one of the detached outbuildings to Stapleford
Park.
