Cottage. Probably, C17, modified. Local stone rubble, with Ham stone dressings; thatched roof between coped gables;
brick end and intermediate chimney stacks. One-storey with attic, 4-bays. Hollow chamfer mullioned 3-light window with
label to lower bay 4; leaded 3-light casements to bays -1 and -3, with part glazed panelled door under stone hood on
corbel brackets between; above to bays -3 and -4 only 3-light casements with single horizontal glazing bars set into
thatch. Rear and interior not seen, but VAG Report, unpublished SRO, June 1982, refers to rear extension with further
2-light mullioned window, and inside unstopped chamfered beams, some fielded panel work. Attached on South side to
Yeoman's Wake Cottage, (not included in listing).
