C17 or earlier, tide mill, heighted and refenestrated early C19. Used as a corn
mill until 1945. 2½ storeys replacing 1 storey building. T-shaped plan. Welsh
slate roof with hipped gable and dormer at south end. Original mill of coursed
squared limestone rubble with additions in random rubble. 2 light casement windows
with glazing bars and timber lintols (some replaced with brick segmental arches).
Old doorway at south end with timber lintol, boarded door and sidelight. Main
entrance at north end with chamfered door posts, stable door and 2 light doors
with hoist above.
