Old custom house, now a dwelling. C19. Timber framed and weatherboarded.
Brick facing to right return. Grey slate roof. 2 storeys. 5 first floor and 2
ground floor windows, mainly small paned vertically sliding sashes with horns.
Left and central vertically boarded doors with double vertically boarded doors
between. Metal hood to left door with fleur-de-lis finial. Rented to H.M.
Customs circa 1870 as a Custom House by Capt. W. Fieldgate. q.v. 8/62.
