Farmhouse, now without a farm. C17, enlarged C18, altered C19. Whitewashed
brick and flint. Pantile roofs, black glazed to east sides. Original house
aligned east-west, now identifiable as a hipped 2 storey block. To the north
side is a panelled door under flat hood with a C19 sash to its right. Above
sash a 3-light ovolo moulded C17 mullioned window. Eastern gable of this
block with 2 late C18 sashes each floor, all with glazing bars. Moulded timber
eaves cornice below hipped roof. Rebuilt panelled ridge stack. C18 3 bay
2 storey range extends south. Late C18 sashes to each floor of 2 left-hand
bays with glazing bars. Early C19 tripartite sashes to right-hand bay also
with glazing bars, but the lower one altered by insertion of top hung casement.
Eaves cornice continues. Gabled roof with ridge stack and south internal gable
end stack. C19 2 storey cross wing to north of hipped C17 block. Sash windows
with glazing bars and horns.
