House. C15 or earlier origin with C17/C18 and C20 alterations and additions.
Timber framed and plastered. Red plain tiled roofs. Central red brick chimney
stack. Double brackets to eaves. 2 storeys and cellar with attic to left C20
crosswing gable. 1:2 window range of C20 leaded 3 light casements. C20
enclosed gabled porch to right original range. C20 vertically boarded door.
Originally of 2 gabled ranges with C18 facade. C15 or earlier hall house.
Right range had collars to each rafter pair, collars now missing. Internal
features include back to back fireplace, stop chamfered bridging joists, C18
vertically boarded doors with wrought ironmongery, including cellar door. RCHM
