Mainly C15 with a C14 west tower. Thorough restoration in 1888 by T.H.B.
Heslop. Flint walls with stone and brick dressings, slate roof. Aisleless
nave and chancel. Non-axial western tower and south porch. C19 Y-traceried
nave windows of moulded gault brick and C19 east window. 2-light chancel
windows C15; south east window in Decorated style, the others using varied
unusual perpendicular motifs. West tower has diagonal buttresses and a semi-
circular stair turret. The C18 bell-stage is of red brick with a short leaded
spire. Flushwork on porch. C19 benches, carved western screen and roofs.
C15 traceried chancel screen and C15 rood beam. Early C17 arcaded pulpit.
Elaborate late C17 wardrobe.
