Row of cottages. C17. Cob, stone plinth, rendered, with gabled-end thatched roof.
2 storeys. 5 window range regularly distributed. All upper windows of 2 lights, 6
panes each under eyebrow eaves.
Ground floor: 3 doorways and three 2-light windows. All casements, timber, late C19
or C20. 2 end stacks with brick shafts, that to the left external. Rear external
lateral stack to no.4. Rear lean-to. Roof largely reconstructed in C20 but
retaining parts of C18 roof, halved slender principals and double collars. The
first floor window heads appear to have been raised but the ground floor openings
retain their original scale. Accordingly included for group value.
