The Homemead.

House. C18. Yellow-washed carstone with brick dressings, red pantiled roof.
Double pile plan 2 storeys, 6 bay facade, 4 central bays of one build, north
and south bays are additions. Central and south bay arranged as 5 ground
and 5 first-floor sashes with glazing bars, on ground-floor with flat brick
arches with central key-stones, louvred external shutters. At south early
C19 porch, Greek Doric pilasters and entablature, raised and fielded 4 panel
doors. At north slightly recessed wing with one ground and one first-floor
sash. Hipped south gable, north gable with coped parapet with beyond hipped,
returned north gable. One ridge and one north gable stack. Attached at north
carstone and brick dressed wall with brick piers with stone roundels and 2
leaf boarded wooden gates. No. 30 is attached at north.
