Former mill. C.1840, incorporating some C17 details. Carstone, slated roofs. 3 storeys, 5 bays. 'T'-plan with off-centre 4 storey gabled porch. 3 bays to north, single bay porch, one bay to south. Ground floor 3 3-light casements, one window filled to form door, first floor 4 3-light casements. Second floor 4 single light casements. First floor string course. Eaves shouldered coped parapet gables with finials to apex, at north partly cut off, at south complete with metal flag finial. Porch wing open through 4-centred arch to north and south. One first floor and one second floor 3-light casement and one 2-light casement in gable. Returns to north and south with first floor and attic floor single casements. First floor and eaves level plat-bands, semi-octagonal corner buttresses rising independently at eaves level as octagonal finials with metal flags, coped triangular gable in-between. South gable with 4 central casement windows of 3-lights each.
Single storey carstone and red pantiled wing attached at east is not of special interest.
