20/148 Group of 2 monuments in the church-
yard approximately 10m east of
chancel to Church of St Martin

GV II*

Two pedestal tombs. Late C18 and early Cl9. Limestone, one with
red sandstone panels. Group comprises: 2 square pedestal tombs
each in railed enclosure. One has sandstone panels within egg and
dart borders, chamfered corners having floral drops. Sarcophagus
set at 45° stands on top with supporting scrolls. Inscribed to
LOCK family. Other tomb is simpler but almost overgrown at time of
survey (October 1986).
