Formerly row of 2 houses, now detached house. C17. Random
rubble limestone; dressed windows; 1 random rubble and 1 ashlar
chimney stack, the ashlar with moulded cap; stone-slate roof to
upper house, plain tile to lower. Upper house of 2 storeys with
attic; single-storey with attic to lower house with wing running
back at west end. Front faces south: single window fenestration
to upper house with off-centre doorway and off-centre attic gable;
3-light recessed chamfered mullioned windows with hoodmoulds;
timber casement to attic with timber lintel; doorway to left of
ground floor window has C20 glazed door; C20 roof-light; ridge
chimney at upper end; lower house also has single window
fenestration, 2-light in large attic gable and 3-light below;
ridge chimney at lower end. Altered fenestration to west side of
back wing; includes C20 raking dormer. North elevation of upper
house has single window fenestration to ground an upper floors:
3-light recessed chamfered mullioned with hoodmoulds; blocked
doorway with small inserted casement and timber lintel and C20
raking dormer in roof to east side of back wing; north gable end of
wing has timber attic casement with timber lintel.
