Farmhouse. Early C17. Red brick; steeply-pitched roof of black-glazed
pantiles. Two storeys and attic. East facade a refronting, five windows
wide, unevenly-spaced. C20 metal casements in openings with cambered arches,
rendered over. C19 porch off-centre to north, 1½ storeys with shaped gable:
rendered semicircular entrance arch and attic casement in gable. Original
entrance doorframe with double quadrant-moulding and stepped stops. Two attic
dormers with 2-light casements and semicircular pediments. Chimney stacks
internal at north gable and off-centre to south, both T-shaped with rebuilt
tops on moulded bases. Parapet gables with moulded eaves corbels; north
gable crow-stepped. South gable has ground floor and first floor C20 metal
glazed doors and casement, but showing remains of earlier pediment openings.
3-light attic window with ovolo-moulded brick mullions and transom, line of
pediment above. Catslide roof over lean-to to rear. In the west wall, a
small 2-light 'fire' window with brick mullion and chamfered reveal.
