Farmhouse. Circa 1710 with mid C18 extension to south. Brick with thatched
roofs. Main range of 2 storeys in 3 bays. Panelled central door below
overlight. 2 sash windows to ground floor with glazing bars and gauged
skewback arches. 3 first floor C20 casements. Corners of elevation enriched
with pilasters. Gabled roof with internal gable end stacks. North and south
gables are shaped. 2 blocked windows to rear, one with small C20 casement
in reduced opening. Platbands at eaves line of gable heads. North gable
head pierced by 2 C20 windows. Correspondingly windows to south blocked to
facilitate single storey and dormer attic extension. 2 C20 windows and one
C20 door. Gabled roof. One gabled dormer to rear. Chamfered bridging beam
in interior of kitchen. Inglenook fireplaces. Winder staircase by south
stack. Roof of tie beams, 2 tiers taper-tenoned butt purlins and collars.
