Former farmhouse. C17 and later. Rendered timber frame on tall brick
plinth. Brick gable-ends: one rendered, the other in English bond.
French pantile roof. Transformed into L plan by the addition of a returned
gable-end to the end bay of a former gutter wall. 2 storeys. North west
gable-end has 4 original openings with chamfered reveals beneath rect-
angular hood-moulds. Modern frames. North west facade with 2 2-light
and one 3-light casement windows. Modern door. 2 surviving C18 windows
with metal casements to rear. C20 additions. 2 rebuilt stacks each with
2 shafts and moulded brick bases to former octagonal shafts. Modern
shallow pitched roof. Interior with some moulded bridging joists.
Original fireplaces with stucco ashlaring, moulded chamfers and barred
stops. Decorative carved corbel supporting a bridging joist.
