Probably C18, built in connection with the earlier house. Circular summer house,
raised above garden level on an earth mound, approached by a stone stair. There
was formerly a water tank under the floor. Stone walls, rendered externally, Purbeck
Stone roof. Interior has a blocked fireplace and 2 ornamental plaster plaques.
Manhole to former water tank in the floor. Fixed timber table with circular revolving
top made from a cart wheel from one of the former horse-drawn carts used to transport
stone to boats at the quay. At the rear of the summer house is a raised water tank,
in a stone, brick and timber structure, dated 1884, which at one time fed the cistern
below the summer house.
