Early to mid C19 on Domesday site, converted and extended in 1930s. Two storeys
main block, coursed and squared rubble with Cotswold roof, ashlar chimney to left
with cornice. Three windows, segment-headed with keys, outer 3 light, centre
2 light, leaded casements. Central oak door with carved brackets to flat hood.
Contemporary hipped break to left with square headed windows to front and Tudor
arched windows to side. Right hand side has modern 2 storey wing linking with
contemporary 1½ storey converted stables:- one large dormer, 2 segment-headed
windows and a coachway now with door and flanking windows; steps and gable end to
upper floor; further extension to north-west. Garden front modernised in Cotswold
style with mullion windows. Lower half-hipped 1½ storey extension to left, former
wheel and mill house, to which a garden wall with handsome wrought-iron gate and
ball finials gate-posts in quadrant walls were added.
