Barn. Riqht end possibly C17, left end dated and initialled F.H.
1718 on tie beam of roof truss, the whole re-roofed at this date,
altered C19. Long rectangular plan. Coursed squared and dressed
limestone, brick and weather boarding, limestone slate roof. Single
storey. Stable door far left with window right. Lower half of wall
right of window stone with brick piers above with horizontal boarded
infill between piers. Boarding extended down in 2 bays with plank doors
inserted. Two 'X' shaped and 2 'S' shaped tie plates. Flat limestone
gable coping with roll-cross saddles. Interior: 5 bays with tie beam
with posts far right and left to principal rafter, struts between posts
up to principal rafter at junction with bowed timbers forming collar.
